Bittersweet Bake Shoppe is a treasure! It’s well worth the additional 20 minute “detour” whenever we’re visiting my parents in Nashua. Lynne is a kind, talented baker who takes time to visit with her patrons.
She’s incredibly accommodating too, I place my order the day prior and it’s always waiting for me. Everything I’ve tried is outstanding and of the best quality. The ham and Swiss croissant is so delicate and buttery – highly recommended. Her chocolate chip cookies are perfect; crisp edges and chewy middle. While we enjoy everything we’ve tried, it’s Lynne’s pies that have us hooked!
Her chicken pot pie is packed with chicken, vegetables, and rich flavor. We love her chocolate French silk pie and her key lime pie. The crust is light and flaky. The decadent fillings and vibrant flavors are always balanced with her light, homemade whipped cream. It’s the winning combination!
